Equipment WARRANTY

Latitude's model is simple:  All equipment provided as part of a subscription plan is covered by Latitude.  This just doesn't mean when things break.  It also means that if something cooler or more innovative comes along, you can have that too.  Here are the details...

Equipment Replacement

Equipment breaks.  It's a simple fact.  At Latitude we understand that when it comes to operating secure environments using our solutions it can be a big deal when something breaks.  This is why we stand behind our products with a fantastic replacement program.  

When you choose a subscription plan your hardware is backed by Latitude, regardless of the manufacturer warranty period.  The coverage period is for the duration of the subscription.  Plus, Latitude will pickup any applicable shipping and installation fees.  No additional cost to you, the customer, when something goes afoul.  

EQUIPMENT Upgrade

Equipment evolves and so do needs, that's why it's important for Latitude to offer a simple upgrade path for subscribers  In the event a better lock, camera or even door controller becomes the new system requirement, Latitude will upgrade the equipment and your plan will reflect the difference in price.  No upfront fees or cost to ship or install.  

The Fine Print (in not so fine print)

  • Replacements or upgrades need to be an equipment swap.  Adding equipment is not considered replacing or upgrading.  
  • If equipment fails due to misuse, abuse, or negligent use the customer is liable and may incur additional fees for equipment replacement or upgrades.
  • Any unauthorized modifications made to equipment is also a risk and customer may be liable and may incur additional fees for equipment replacement or upgrades.
  • Latitude gets the old stuff back, but we will send you a box and shipping label.
  • Latitude has to authorize the installer, whether we send our own or we deem customer worthy. Customer cannot deem themselves worthy or anyone else without Latitude's consent.
